MBS Storefront

1. What MBS Storefront Is

MBS Storefront is a white-label mobile shopping application developed by Ryunosuke Jansen, operating as myBad Studios, based in Brits, North West, South Africa. The application is licensed to independent store owners who deploy it under their own branding, connected to their own WooCommerce-powered website.

myBad Studios is the developer and licensor of the software only. Each deployed instance of MBS Storefront is owned and operated by the store owner (the licensee), who is solely responsible for the management of their customers' personal information.

2. What myBad Studios Collects

myBad Studios collects nothing. The application does not transmit any data to myBad Studios infrastructure. There are no myBad Studios servers involved in the operation of the app at any point.

The app stores the following information locally on the user's device. This data never leaves the device and is never accessible to myBad Studios:

• Shopping lists — product names and prices saved by the user to named lists, stored in a local file on the device
• Cart contents — items added to the cart, persisted locally so the cart survives app restarts
• Authentication token — a secure token issued by the store's own server upon login, stored locally to maintain the user's session

All of the above is erased when the app is uninstalled.

3. What the App Transmits

When a user creates an account, updates their profile, or places an order, the app transmits that information directly to the store's own WooCommerce server over an encrypted HTTPS connection. This includes:

• Username and email address (account creation)
• Name, phone number, and delivery address (required to place an order)
• Order contents, quantities, and total value
• Delivery or collection preference

4. No Tracking or Third-Party Services

MBS Storefront contains no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting sent to myBad Studios, and no integration with any third-party SDK or service. The app makes no network requests other than to the store's own server.

The app is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Those platforms are governed by their own privacy policies independently of myBad Studios.

5. Store Owner Responsibility

The store owner (licensee) is the data controller for all personal information submitted through their deployed instance of MBS Storefront. This includes account details, order data, and any other information their customers provide through the app.

Store owners are solely responsible for:

• Maintaining their own privacy policy covering their customers' personal information
• Ensuring compliance with applicable data protection legislation, including the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA) where applicable
• The security and management of their WooCommerce server and its data
• Any obligations arising from the collection and processing of their customers' personal information

myBad Studios accepts no liability for how a licensee collects, stores, uses, or protects their customers' personal information.

6. Changes to This Policy

This policy will be updated if the data practices of MBS Storefront change in a meaningful way. The effective date at the top of this document will reflect the most recent revision. Given that myBad Studios collects no data, significant changes to this policy are unlikely.
